Jade Barnett

Jade Barnett is a dynamic public speaker, consultant, facilitator, and Co-Founder of Power2Prevail Community. Growing up in SE London, she faced significant challenges, including being permanently excluded from school and entering the care system at 15. Despite these barriers, Jade turned her lived experiences into a driving force for change, becoming a passionate advocate for disadvantaged young people. Since 2020, she has championed better support for marginalised young people, featuring in high-profile campaigns such as Nothing in Isolation (Mission 44 & Sir Lewis Hamilton) and the Gone Too Far campaign (Become Charity).

Jade was a finalist for the Young Entrepreneur Award via Precious Awards in 2024, and she also served on the Mayor of London’s Violence Reduction Unit’s Young People’s Action Group in 2021-2023. Jade is recognised for her impactful social action event LOVE 'OUR' YOUTH and her Journey2Adulthood programme, delivered through Power2Prevail, supporting care-experienced young people, 16-25, in their transition to independence.
